Bury My Heart at Chuck E. Cheese's by Tiffany Midge

funny lighthearted fast-paced

3.75

First before I get into my deeper review,  this book is not meant to be an audiobook. It was hard to really understand where one short story begins and where another ends. I think the narrator was good but I think the way it was constructed plus how she read it  made it really so there was no real pause or break to denote changes. That definitely affects my review as I just wouldn't read it in this format.

Despite that I think Tiffany Midge wrote a lot of funny stories! It was really cool to see the political statements getting told in a way that made me chuckle and guffaw. I will say certain stories were funnier than others which made for some occasionally slow moments in the collection. I think I might need to re-read this to truly absorb everything she wrote about. I would recommend the physical version of this short story collection for anyone looking for just a funny and interesting quick read! My favorites were the thrift store man and Rachel Dolezal!
