I was pleasantly surprised with this book. As any footy fan would be. Conveniently reading it during Euro 2021 it got me even more excited at the reality of England beating Germany in the round of 16. Hopefully this review isn't immediately outdated tomorrow (July 3rd) if I say ITS COMING HOME!
Rory's plotline was definitely the highlight of the book , I really enjoyed the "Da Goalsky" moment. I'll have to look for more of these YA novels in the future, easy yet pleasant reads that they seem to be.
