The Violin of Auschwitz by Maria Àngels Anglada

4.0

there is something about winter that makes me want to read nazi germany, concentration camp era books. perhaps it is my solace in that reminding myself while yes it is cold- at least i do not have to wake up at 4 in the morning to do roll call and eat moldy bread.

But this is beside the point.
this book is more than your moldy bread we saw our family die in the ghetto/gas chambers. it is a story of the power of music and letting it ignite your soul.
