The Doll House by Phoebe Morgan
2.0

Very disappointing, the red herring was very obvious and the characters were unrealistic. All of the characters tell people they barely know private and important information about themselves and the other main characters. It felt lazy and unrealistic since the intention was to make it difficult to discover who the antagonist is.

There were some problems with the writing. Sometimes the author would describe a scene one way and the change it in the next paragraph. The story also would have benefited from more description of the areas they’re in. The climax is set in a train station, and it was difficult to follow because it heavily relied on knowing what it looked like.
