I really wanted to love this book. I went to a book event and got to meet Alex and am sad to report it fell short of my expectations(which to be fair, were probably too high). The unreliable narrator and the way it was written like a play through me off. I got confused with all the jumping forward and backward. I do like the way Alex was able to connect the previous stories at one point. I found the story itself to have lots of twists and turns.
