Every Day by David Levithan

5.0

I had clearly misjudged it - first twenty pages and I'm in shock of how quickly the book paced that I wondered if its staying power would be enough to have me remember it tomorrow. Yet I lingered and not in one moment did I put it down. And, let me just say that the ending was perfect and I might have subconsciously hoped it that way, though I did not exactly expect it. (Did I make sense? No? Okay.) Remarkably poignant. I'm at loss for words.

(By the way, it reminded me of a fetal version of Nifenegger's The Time Traveler's Wife.)
