Little Lies by H. Hunting, Helena Hunting

4.5 stars

Hands down, this book is one of my most favorite reads by Helena Hunting, writing here for the first time under H. Hunting. After falling in love with the Clipped Wings series in 2016, I was subconsciously waiting for another story by her that's going in this direction. And here I am, 4 years later my wish came true.

You know, you don't have to have read the Pucked Series (at least the books reg. Lavender's parents) or the All In Series (at least the book reg. Kodiak's parents or the one of Lavender's therapist). You are perfectly fine if you haven't read those. BUT having read those respective books absolutely enhanced my reading experience with Little Lies. Therefore I recommend reading these books before. But you'll be perfectly fine and flashed if you don't. Believe me.

Now, the story told in Little Lies is something special and unique. Something as refreshing as it might be shocking. Most of all it's touching. It touched my mind and heart in a delicate and sensitive way that I didn't see coming.

Lavender and Kodiak are such very special characters, soul deeply connected. Their bound was planned in heaven and executed on earth. Both came a long way, dealing with their problems so differently. Ending with the realization that their bond was meant for both to heal each other.

Little Lies is not only a story or a book, it is so much more than that and therefore I love it all the more!
