A sci-fi retelling of the Greek myth about Antigone, which feels very refreshing, imaginative and modern while also capturing the vibe of a historical fiction set in the ancient world. Since it is written from multiple povs, the story is much more than a mere Antigone retelling. We get insight to all the important family members, including her siblings and her uncle's family. The only aspects I did not enjoy as much were the lack of emotional impact in just a few significant moments and the ending, which could have been expanded on a little bit more. I loved the sci-fi twist! It is a very dystopian world and the book talks a lot about immortality, parenthood and birth. Highly recommend!
