Eleven Days: A Novel of the Heartland by Donald Harstad

4.0

A little violent and disturbing but this is one of the best best raw countryside procedural thrillers I've read. Harstad was a cop himself and it shows in his writing. Detailed and engaging yet extremely believable scenarios. The way he introduces tension in a remote countryside and gathers momentum, you will find it difficult to put it down. Harstad can create tension even in a simple scene where two 'harmless' people are having coffee.

I loved it and recommend to all those who wants to read a taut and engaging book.

Satans exists and in modern world, they might exist in your own neighborhood.
