It’s been, oh gosh; a year since I have read a J.T. Geissinger book – I don’t even know why there was a break but her book [b:Wicked Sexy|29364087|Wicked Sexy (Wicked Games #2)|J.T. Geissinger|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1463067031l/29364087._SY75_.jpg|49610242] (Read My Review)still remains one of my Top Favourites Reads of all times – as in I tend to recommend this beauty whenever someone wants to read a really well written protagonists with just the right amount of sizzling chemistry and suspense to keep you hooked right till the end.

And THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I FOUND in her newest release – Beautifully Cruel as well!

Tru Sullivan, a young woman who is going to Law School and working as a waitress at a diner, is intrigued by one of her patrons – a beautiful, impeccably dressed man (Liam Black) with broody looks who always takes a table in her section; drinks coffee, looks at her and leaves. This pattern has been repeating for 11 freaking months at the start of the book.

She is intrigued, of course, but as a young woman living alone, also knows that he just might one of  the dangerous wolves – her intrigue and attraction towards, no matter how reciprocated, just might not be something that she could survive.

Let me tell you, I LOVE an anti – hero as much as the fellow romance reader; but gosh darn it – it was Tru who literally swept me off my feet. I LOVED that she was an awkward introvert, but that didn’t mean that she was a simpering idiot – what she had was a spine of steel, a body that seemed to be made of snark and pretty much kept Liam on his toes!

But don’t get me wrong – Liam Black is a whole tub of deliciousness himself – I swear he is my new book boyfriend and I will cut anyone who says otherwise.

Tru and Liam were delish; their chemistry was off the charts H-O-T and it had me sweating
(or it could be the May heat in India, but who knows!) – and they really were perfect for each other!

J.T. Geissinger’s books might have lost their way in the TBR pile that is threatening to drown me; but like with her previous book, Beautifully Cruel is a well written, brilliantly plotted with characters you can’t help but love – and revelations that will break your heart and blow you away! Whatever you think, you might know about the book from the blurb; just throw it all away and go in blind. Trust me, you will thank me for the experience.

Also, Ms. Geissinger I am gonna need a minimum of three spin offs from this “standalone” romance – you know well about whom I am talking about! *begs prettily*
