I have fallen in love with the beautiful writing of K.J. Lewis with her first book, Taylor Made ( Read My Review); and while I couldn’t get to Taylored to Perfection till now ( I am so so sorry, KJ!), I still couldn’t give up the chance of signing up to review this newest offering, even if it was releasing in the middle of my honeymoon! :P

And I am ecstatic that KJ still retains that effervescent quality that made Taylor Made one of my favorites in 2016!

This book is in the same universe as Taylor Made but deals with two new characters – Elise Donovan and Reid Beckett.

Now, Elise Donovan is a “fixer”; a problem in the corporate world? Just call Elise and you can be assured that it will be handled and handled well. She is a “badass”; not in literal terms, but one who is happy to break all the glass ceilings and still be content for she has a team of best friends she loves working with.

Reid Beckett is an arrogant, condescending yet a charming confident man. He is the boss, and is known to actually get what he wants, be it in the professional world or in his personal life. He is also a well-known player (aren’t they all?:P)

A chance meeting on a private plane between Elise and Reid changes their course of life in a way that they did not anticipate.

Elise and Reid are two headstrong people – they are stubborn, confident and definitely tough; so it was so much fun to see their interactions and be a part of their journey! Plus, the writing as usual, is phenomenal, made it so that I read the whole freaking book on the plane ride back to home (though I was unable to write the review due to all the stupid adult responsibilities!).

And if you are a returning KJ fan, know that there are some very dear characters who make an appearance, and whom I greeted with a loud squeal on the plane and woke up my almost everyone around me (fortunately, my husband has gotten used to me squealing or shouting or screaming or even crying while reading! :P)

If this is your first time hearing about this author, trust me, pick this one up – you will not regret it! She takes you on wildly addictive ride and when you are done; you end up thanking her for sharing her talent with the world.
