All-Star Batman, Volume 2: Ends of the Earth by Scott Snyder, Giuseppe Camuncoli, Francesco Francavilla, Tula Lotay, Jock

4.0

The main arc of this book is one of the best examples of connected-but-standalone Batman stories I've ever read. Brilliant art and scripting. I ended up just reading one issue a day and feel that was the right way to go, since each story offers a substantial amount to appreciate and digest.

I would give this 5 stars if it were just the titular Ends of the Earth storyline. After those 4 issues, it goes back to an earlier, long-running arc called "The Cursed Wheel," and there are just too many confusing parts of that slowly unraveling mystery for me to really enjoy it. I'm somewhat interested in what Duke is, or will be, but would rather just read that whole story at once when it's finished.
