This the second book in the series and picks up right where the first one ended. Mary Elizabeth still is trying to find her friends while struggling with this new revelation that nothing is what it seems. While this book doesn't have the same fast-pace action as the first, it does have the fallout and consequences of the battle that ended the first book. Mary Elizabeth still is struggling with her own identity and must decide what is best for her rather than what people tell her is best for her. I am excited to see what happens in the next book.
