A Lovecraftian near-apocalypse that ends with a kaiju battle? C'mon. I only have so many boxes left to tick. Plus, I'm reading this after doing a full read of the series and I didn't have to wait through the issue delays like the rest of you chumps. So I can say with everything prior fresh in my mind that everything ties together pretty damn nicely. But, I think was kind of unnecessary. If they had built up to this better and had it be a thing like a volume or two beforehand it'd probably feel more organic, but it feels like a last-minute addition to the finale.
