This book was a huge surprise for me, I had only read one book by Penelope beforehand. The description of this book sounded very cliche if I'm being honest, but it had so much more depth to it then you would expect. As someone who had a guy best friend of eight years and lost him, it touched me in a different way. This book was not only a sexy romance but it delved into several topics, such as family abuse, but it didn't do it in a trashy way. The ending left me satisfied and I will for sure pick up the next book because Penelope's books are just so easy and fun to read but also touching and real.
