I love [b:Fairy Tale Comics: Classic Tales Told by Extraordinary Cartoonists|17261176|Fairy Tale Comics Classic Tales Told by Extraordinary Cartoonists|Chris Duffy|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1359199475l/17261176._SX50_.jpg|23857272], but this book was a bit of a slog. Part of the issue might be the less familiar source material; I read and studied Aesop's fables as a kid, but only a few are as familair to me as the fairy tales in the other book. Complicating the matter is that several artists changed their assigned fable, making the tale - and the moral - even more muddled. I also didn't find the art (overall) as compelling as some comics collections. If I ever go back and read Aesop's Fables again, maybe I'll dig out and enjoy this book, but I don't see that happening any time soon.
