Queens of the Abyss: Lost Stories from the Women of the Weird by Mike Ashley

5.0

I rather enjoyed the fact that this is a collection of books and so therefore much easier to read, it also involves a lot of stories which you normally would not have heard during that time but which are popular today. I was also very surprised by the language, which was actually a lot clearer then one you would normally read during those times and that's something that I found very interesting and unexpected. The stories also include a little bit of a history about each author in the beginning which was very good because it allowed you to get to know more authors then just the popular ones that you see such as Bronte.
