This is a densely plotted novel with some deft twists and turns. Don’t expect to devour it in a single sitting.
This is the first in a relatively recent series. The author brings her experience as a journalist into this novel. At times it does read a bit more like a news article than fiction. However, It’s a solid start on what I feel is her quest to become a superior novelist.
