Agatha H. and the Clockwork Princess by Phil Foglio

4.0

This book covers the part of the webcomic where I gave up in frustration, yelling "it's just too ridiculously complicated to know who's trying to do what to which and when!!!!"

This lasted all of a day before I carried on reading. The book also required me to concentrate a bit to keep track of characters' current allegiances. And by "characters'", I mean "Tarvek's". Although the novel fleshed a few things out, added a few more entertaining bits of dialogue, it wasn't enough to make me like him, although I tried.

However. I will always love Dimo, Ognian and Maxim, for all time. As always - the whole thing, even if the rest of it was a dissertation on j-cloth thickness, would be worth reading purely for any section that has a Jagermonster in it, in my opinion.
