Under the Moon: A Catwoman Tale by Lauren Myracle

4.0

I really liked this one, but I can see a lot of people not enjoying it. The ending is a bit of a letdown if you're expecting big showdowns, a battle with a villain, comeuppance for any of the awful people. It's not focused on Selina dominating the external forces in her life, but rather coming to grips with the internal ones. It's a subtler story, but I liked it and think that the creative team did an awesome job telling it. I would not have guessed this was Myracle's first foray into writing graphic novels, and usually that sort of thing is very obvious. Well done!
