Burn Bright by Patricia Briggs

My YouTube Review can be found here from 24th May 2021: https://youtu.be/q9UdLyG40JU

So, if you've read the book you'll understand my next comment - if you haven't, you will after... I'm going to totally ignore the 'conversaion' Anna and Charles have about mercy and Bran... cause, it's out of context and I think it might have been read wrong, however....

This book is stunningly written. The claustrophobia of Anna and Wellesley with Asil and Bran stuck where he is, against the outdoors race to get to the wildlings and see what's going on is beautifully contrasted. Brigg's ability to world build is wonderful, but it does bring Mercy up a few times and I hadn't read Mercy for quite some time, so I was a little out of the loop once or twice. But I have mercy to go back and read soon enough.

As Charles and Anna go, this is an amazing book, Brother wolf's hilariousness over Charles making him look like an idiot by overshooting his stopping distance shows the relationship a werewolf born wolf differs from those made.

Read it, you won't be disappointed, upset by events, but not disappointed. And Asil saying 'children' never ceases to make me giggle.
