Avengers: Time Runs Out, Vol. 2 by Jonathan Hickman

3.0

This was a bit eh, and felt a bit like the backsliding around the second volume of Hickman's Avengers - SHIELD's manhunt for the Illuminati just isn't that interesting to me, and feels like a boring sideshow after all of the incursion fireworks. There's some stuff I really, really like in here too, though - the revelations about where Stark and Strange have taken off to are genuinely great (even if the Iron Man-centric issue is another one of those "wait, did I miss an issue?" stories where Hickman refers back to events we haven't seen in Avengers/New Avengers as if they were common knowledge), and Sunspot is fast becoming one of my favorite characters in all of this.
