2.0

Enjoyed the first of the 3 stories in this book, but quickly abandoned the remaining 2. The first story tells of a couple lost to the doldrums of domesticity and feeling taken for granted who trial a separation but are tied due to the children. They rediscover themselves and what they found attractive in each other again, culinating in the Christmas Holidays. The 2nd story didn't grab my attention at all and as Christmas had arrived and so too a pile of enticing new books - this one was left unfinished. Maybe, they might be revisited another day? And maybe a revised rating then depending on the other 2 stories. As a stand alone, The Holiday was worth more than just 2.
