I think I liked this more than the second book… I still think the first is the best in the series but this was a nice conclusion to the story. It was cool getting to see the dark planet and I always love learning more about Atherton. I didn’t really care for the tiny little mentions of romance throughout the series though… they felt pointless. They were usually only a sentence or two and nothing ever happened? I think the best part of this series is the worldbuilding, and ultimately that’s why I kept reading. This series will always stick out in my mind because of the universe it created.
