From Hell with Love by Simon R. Green

3.0

Plot summary: Eddie Drood is back. When the Matriarch of the Drood family, Eddie's grandmother, is murdered, Eddie's girlfriend Molly stands accused. But it appears that there are dark forces at work, trying to take down the Drood family for good, and it's up to Eddie to stop them.

Thoughts: I'm really enjoying this series. In typical Green fashion, it's full of blood and guts flying all over the place. There are also a bunch of awesome gadgets, courtesy of the Armourer, to keep things fun. It's full of big battles against evil foes, and the ending definitely sets things up for a big change in the next book. Well worth the read, if you can get past the occasionally gruesome battle descriptions.
