A children's book my girlfriend had read when she was young, I found to be rather enjoyable even as an adult.
The dragonkeeper is a tale of bravery and self-discovery that I would recommend any kid to read. Its chinese background does well to immerse the reader in some aspects of Chinese mythology as well.
