Between the Acts by Virginia Woolf

1.0

Nope, not for me. I'm sure it is very well written...from a poetical standpoint. But as a novel, it just doesn't hold up. Unbelievably boring! But not only boring, unbelievably unclear! A jumble of words that occasionally make sense. An array of unlikeable characters adds to my antagonism towards this book. Everything about this book is the epitome of pretentious!

I will say though, that it is an interesting study in relation to Virginia's mental state at the time. But unfortunately I don't read a book for its psychiatric anomalies.

I repeat. Nope. Not for me. Never again.
