A classic! I could understand why it is so. This was such a delight to read. I did not expect to thoroughly enjoy the first volume of this beloved anime. I know that this technically went out first but this did remind me of Miraculous Ladybug, by the way of Luna (kwamis) and the brooches (miraculous). I loved how the cases start out as something like unsolved mysteries or those born out of the supernatural, and then we'll later find out that it was the villain's doing. So far, my favorite character is Rei. I love how she's a no-nonsense girl and quite possibly a man-hater (with good reasons, though haha). There has been a lot of action from this volume alone and I can't wait to find out more about worldbuilding and who is the princess that Usagi and her friends should protect. I am also looking forward to knowing more about Tuxedo Mask and the possible budding romance between him and Usagi.
