Night Shift by Stephen King

4.0

King's earliest collection of short stories has some of his recurrent themes--vampires, serial killers, demon-inhabited machinery. There are some gems in here, like Last Rung of the Ladder, Strawberry Spring, One for the Road, Quitters, Inc., and then there are others that miss the mark, but overall a good read. Fun to revisit this one after so long.
