Books like these are the reason I love Jay Kristoff’s work so much. Everything is fresh, exciting, and emotional with memorable characters and snappy dialogue.
From the moment I started the series, it completely swept me in with its characters, world, and action. All that momentum kept up throughout the books, leading to this spectacular and surprising ending.
Kristoff crafts an amazing story around his memorable characters. Even new favourites like Grimm and Diesel were given time to shine. While I absolutely loved Zeke and Eve’s storylines, Lemon is the standout for me. The girl is too fierce, too funny, too brave not to love. She is a gem in this gritty world, and I adore her for it.
And the action! It was like watching a film on the page. Everything is so intense, so heart-pounding, the book hardly lets you take a breath. And this is Kristoff we’re talking about, so don’t assume anyone is safe!
There are some truly memorable and heartfelt moments within this book, and I just couldn’t stop reading for anything. It is everything I hoped it would be, and more.
TRUEL1F3 is truly one of a kind. There is no other book like it, so I recommend it if you love adventure, genre mash-ups, witty characters, and wild adventure! A must have!
