I wanted to bash my head against a wall throughout the entire time I was reading this book. While writing this review and rereading my notes on this book I actually shivered, they made me feel so uncomfortable. If I could give negative stars to this book, I would. The ending made me feel nauseous. I have absolutely nothing positive to say about this book.

*The main character Drex is the biggest AH out of all of the books that I've read so far. He's unlikeable, arrogant, creepy, predatory, always sexualizes Thalia, and has anger problems. He had pp measuring contests with two different characters. How did Drex know that Jasper was the killer? He had a hunch, a feeling. It was never explained, and we were never given a description of how he came to that conclusion. 'Having a hunch' is just bad writing.
*The 'romance' between Drex and Thalia. There was no chemistry, no romance, no tension. Just Drex's creepy thoughts about Thalia, and Thalia's thoughts of how she thinks that Drex is sexy. They didn't even know each other and were ready to die for each other. Why?
*The writing style is dry, with few descriptions of emotions, actions, and setting. The book is full of misogyny.
*Also this gem from Drex: "He wanted to kill her. But first, he wanted to fuck her. No, he wanted to fuck her, then torment her, then kill her."
