This was a difficult but enjoyable read. I appreciate the struggles that Miles went through with her weight as she was dealing with the suicide of cousin and

being in love with her best friend who did not return the romantic feelings.

I felt like my teenage self would have easily been able to relate with regards to her weight issues and how she handled them (that is, to say, poorly). There were some slow points in the book, but I left the book feeling satisfied with the ending.
