The Sandman, Vol. 6: Fables & Reflections by Neil Gaiman

5.0

What I remember about reading it as kid - I loved it. I remember thinking “Ramadan” was the most beautifully illustrated story I had ever seen in comics. I remember that at this point, I was feverishly buying every snippet of the Sandman world I could… the spin offs and special miniseries and Vertigo anthologies.

What I think about the collection now - I love it. “Ramadan” is one of the most beautifully illustrated stories I’ve ever seen in comics. I love being reminded of the passion I had for the series as a youth. I love being able to feel passionate about it in a new way as an adult.

Phenomenal stuff, these stories.
