Ready to Die by Lisa Jackson

3.0

Although I have read lots of books from this genre over the years, this is only my second by Lisa Jackson. I wasn’t quite so keen on this one, I’m not sure if it is because I’ve not read the rest of the series, or something else. It felt like the crime was overshadowed by the family drama of the Graysons, which only came about as one of them was the target of the shooter, but to me it felt like they provided too much history of the situation, which wasn’t really relevant to investigating the crime. I don’t however get the who done it until quite late on but this may because of my previous comments.
