Back with another Dresden book. After actively not liking the last book, I was worn down by everyone saying that I should keep going. Well I finally picked up the next one and it was pretty good. Less weird chivalry rants (they are still there so don't get your hopes too high) and more fun magic. This book honestly kind of felt like an end to the series with the number of tie ins that it had. This book directly deals with stuff from all of the previous books so I hope you remember all of them.

I enjoyed the plot and found it interesting to see where things are headed both with Dresden and the war that is going on. I think my main complaint about this book is that Butcher set of so many plots that some of them just ended up not getting the time that they needed to feel satisfying in the end. I did enjoy this one enough to continue on but it might be a bit.

My rating system
1 - Did not enjoy
2 - Not irredeemable but has too many flaws to say I enjoyed
3 - Enjoyed it
4 - Great book but didn't love it
5 - Amazing book
