Festival of Crime: The Twin Cities Sisters in Crime by Mickie Turk, D.A. Lampi, Michael Allan Mallory, Christine Husom

A solid selection of mystery/crime stories from a diverse group of authors. Each brings their personal touch and insights to a short story set in or around a community festival. Makes for an intriguing writing exercise. There's no doubt the characters are pure Minnesota and I can easily imagine most of them. Some stories were funny, others a bit creepy and scary. Most had nice little twists at the end. A nice book to take on a vacation to MN. Also good for a quick bedtime read since the stories are usually less than 10 pages.
