Injustice: Gods Among Us: Year Five, Vol. 1 by Brian Buccellato

3.0

It's hard to believe how long this series has been going, and how much better it has been than it had any right to be. Finally in the fifth year, the character writing/script is noticeably worse. The season's arc and style demands constant fist fights between many different factions, all at once. Most of the dialogue feels more like the writer's personal notes-to-self instead of actual, witty verbiage. Still, it's so damn fun to read! Harley remains one of the most interesting and well-written characters, and I care about some of the others, as well as what sort of end game we'll see play out.
