I had somewhat high hopes for this short story collection, but came away mostly disappointed. The concept here are short stories that in some way involves video games in some way, shape, or form. Some of the stories are inspired by games, others read like an adventure game, and some even confuse games and reality in strange ways. I think my disappointment comes from two things, that I felt that there were far too many stories in here that I just didn't care about whatsoever, and that I had higher expectations for authors like Andy Weir and Hugh Howey. There were a couple very good, page turning, gripping stories in this collection, but they were few and far between and weren't enough to carry the book.
