Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy

5.0

Tolstoy has a way of writing an inner dialogue that is better than I've ever read. Anna Karenina is much easier to read than War and Peace but it still has the depth. It is heart breaking, dramatic, spiritual, political, and personal. I loved it and felt drawn in instantly. I love the interplay of all the long story lines. I love reading how some characters destroy themselves and how others thrive. This is a classic novel for a reason.
