What We Don't Talk About by Charlot Kristensen

5.0

"Walking away from the person you love is never easy. But if that person refuses to see you for who you really are...if loving them means you have to silence yourself to please them...then that love is not worth it. You're worth more than that."

I randomly picked this book up in the graphic novel section of my library. I'm so glad I did. It's so beautiful and well written. It is so important to talk about racism that can exist in interracial relationships. Very powerful and very beautiful artwork! I'm so glad that Farai spoke up against her boyfriend and his parents.
