Audiobook narrated by Stephen Fry.

I liked it better than both Adventures and Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes. May not have the highest highs, but much stronger stories overall, and I don't think there was any story I actively disliked. Also, they handled the
death of Sherlock Holmes
from the Final Problem pretty good. Better than I expected. Below are my notes/ratings of individual stories:

Story 1: The Adventure of the Empty House
4/5
All things considered, Doyle did a good enough job resurrecting Holmes from the dead without leaving too many questions behind. The final mystery was fine too.

Story 2: The Adventure of the Norwood Builder
4/5
Damn, I could've never had guessed that. Among the more surprising “solutions” of a Sherlock mystery. The intrigue surrounding the mystery was fine, too.

Story 3: The Adventure of the Dancing Men
4.5/5
Among the top 10 Sherlock Holmes stories, for sure. I love it when the mystery has a sense of defeat in the end for Holmes. And I like when the stories go a bit dark, especially this one, because it seemed pretty uneventful at the beginning. Although you can't solve this mystery on your own because all the clue aren't provided to you, it was still very exciting to see things being unraveled.

Story 4: The Adventure of the Solitary Cyclist
3.5/5

Story 5: The Adventure of the Priory School
3.5/5

Story 6: The Adventure of Black Peter
3/5
No intrigue, no suspense, no huge revelation. Not the best Sherlock mystery, but not the worst either.

Story 7: The Adventure of Charles Augustus Milverton
4.5/5
Extremely different from any other Sherlock Holmes story, just like The Final problem. It's not even a mystery this time. Holmes and Watson fighting against the law instead of with it, and it's all the more entertaining this way.

Story 8: The Adventures of the Six Napoleons
3/5
Started off really well, but it was quite a shitty conclusion. One we've seen done plenty of times in previous stories.

Story 9: The Adventure of the Three Students
4/5
A very low stake story when compared to usual Holmes mysteries, but still a very fun one to solve.

Story 10: The Adventure of the Golden Pince-nez
3.5/5

Story 11: The Adventure of the Missing Three-Quarter
3.5/5
I liked the ending, sad and unexpected. I mean, most of the endings of Sherlock Holmes stories are unexpected, but this was quite different.

Story 12: The Adventure of the Abbey Grange
3.5/5
Even though I kinda guessed the ending, I still liked it. Also, the starting where Watson gets angry at Sherlock for criticizing his accounts of the Sherlock cases was hilarious.

Story 13: The Adventure of the Second Stain
4/5
A very high stake Sherlock Holmes Adventure. I loved it. It's not the most clever mystery once Sherlock meets “that” person, but it was still very intriguing and fun. A good end to the book.
