Adeline: A Novel of Virginia Woolf
by Norah Vincent
Mostly stunning; a few scenes are a little clunky in the first half of the book, but so many sentences, paragraphs, and even expanses of pages that are worth reading out loud. insightful, vivid. Vincent is no new Woolf here, but she provides a wonderful treat for those who love her.
Personally, I appreciated the character of Adeline, an adolescent trauma "part" of Virginia's, with whom she talks and struggles.
