The Return of Sherlock Holmes, Volume 2
by Arthur Conan Doyle
3.5 stars. MUCH better selection of stories than previous collections, although there were a few stories where settings/tropes seemed too similar to some other stores and utilized in similar ways. Not a bad thing, just repetitive. It's worth noting how three-four of these have women as the culprits, and while Doyle definitely doesn't write them in offensive ways, it still just felt awkward (especially in , where the woman doesn't even get a name!)
Top 3 stories: "The Dancing Men" | "The Solitary Cyclist" | "Charles Augustus Milverton"
Most Boring: "The Three Students"
Instances of Being Concerned the Culprit Was Going to Be an Orangutan, But It Wasn't: Three.
