Ill Wind by Rachel Caine
3.0
Read for Vaginal Fantasy Hangout Main Pick August '12
A fine example of the "urban fantasy" genre - weather workers and djinns facing a crisis and getting smutty with it. Falls nicely between the well-plotted Grave Witch books of Kalayna Price and the amusing Jazz Tremaine series by Linda Wisdom. A good read, not earth-shattering but very enjoyable. That said, there's not a lot of depth to the main character and there was quite a lot of exposition going on which marred the progress of the action.
