I found Lift’s interlude in Words of Radiance to be a drag, so i wasn’t looking forward to Edgedancer. after having read it however, i think i disliked her interlude purely because i was itching to get back to Kal! I read this in one sitting and enjoyed it far more than i thought I would.

I don’t LOVE Lift, but she’s a nice, lighthearted break from the usual heavier text, and her narrative voice helps breathe a little more light into the world of the Stormlight Archives as a whole.

I just so adore Szeth, and am loving watching his character develop more, so that definitely earns Edgedancer some points as well.

Overall, looking forward to getting stuck in to Oathbringer, but definitely glad i read this.
