The reason I give this book 4 stars instead of 5 is it is yet another white man writing from the perspective of a black woman. Not great. However, the writing style is funny as hell, the story is fun and adventurous, and I learned a lot about several different places in a unique yet vast time period. Would recommend if you want a laugh.
