I decided to let this Check, Please! reread be what cleansed me between these ACOTAR books! I read this when it was originally coming out as a webcomic back in the day, and rereading it just now was so nostalgic for me.
This introduction is good, but the second one (aka Bitty's Junior Year) is definitely my favorite, so that's why this isn't a 5 star! I am big into works that involve hockey BECAUSE of Check, Please! It's how I learned more about it and got invested the sport at all.
I'm so glad I sat down and reread this one!
