If I Die Tonight by Alison Gaylin

3.0

Usually when I read these kinds of books (unreliable narrators, small town, plot twist) by the end I'm skimming ahead just to cut to the chase. This book kept me interested and enthralled right to the last page. Such good character development for a fair amount of people - I learned enough about everyone's backstory to appreciate their outcomes and felt as though I knew them as a character. I was into the story enough that I cared about what I was reading, and wasn't constantly guessing about motives or what the outcome would be.

A couple times I was like really, would someone do that, but then pages later I would be convinced that yes, yes they would.

Very close to giving this four stars. I definitely recommend this as a good weekend read.
