The Boy from Long Gully: Australia's Unsung Hero from the Early 1900s Heroic Age of Antarctic Exploration by Wilson McOrmist, Tim Jarvis

adventurous informative medium-paced

2.5

A story about a group of men who were sent to the other side of Antarctica to lay stores of food for Shackleton  who was supposed to cross the continent. The men were poorly led, which led to the loss of three of them. Unfortunately it is poorly written, especially the (imagined) conversations.
