ok so i really enjoyed this book. basically my only complaint was that it suffered from 2nd book syndrome and thus could have probably been cut down quite a few pages in the middle. other than that, it was very enjoyable, and i thought the character development was realistic for the circumstances. i also thought the heavy topics were handled pretty well. the last few chapters in particular were spectacular, even if they themselves have issues.

Spoilerokay am i the only one who thought that the author did a pretty good job of almost-redeeming davy? i didnt cry or anything when he died but i did feel very bad for him lol. the fact that he wanted to have todd be his brother and viola his sister was very pain-inducing for me specifically. tbh his death brought a little memories back of "todd?" from the first book

overall im excited to read the last book!
